Methodology
How we score shops and run the drops.
Every shop gets a 0–10 score on five criteria. Here is how the ranking is built, how we earn money, and what the scores do not mean.
Some shops on this site are affiliate partners: we earn a commission on purchases through our links, and this can influence their placement.
Purity & testing
Stated purity, independent HPLC/MS testing, batch-level COAs.
Transparency
Identifiable operator, imprint, clear terms and contact options.
Price & value
Price level, free-shipping threshold and how generous the coupons are.
Shipping
EU coverage, speed, discreet packaging, tracking.
Support
Reachable contact channels and how problems get resolved.
FORMULA
overall = purity × 0.30 + transparency × 0.20 + price × 0.20 + shipping × 0.15 + support × 0.15 Labels: Excellent (≥ 9.0) · Very good (≥ 8.5) · Good (≥ 8.0) · Fair (≥ 7.0) · Weak (below 7)
How we earn money, and what it changes
Some shops on CodeVial are affiliate partners: we earn a commission on orders placed through our links, and they give us the codes we drop to members. That relationship can influence placement — our top three (Nexo Research, Europa-Peptide, Peptid24) hold fixed spots at the top of the ranking. It does not change their facts, pros or cons.
Every other shop is ranked by score. Those scores come from public information: the shop's own pages where we could confirm a website, and public directories and review sites such as PeptidesLookup, linked under “Sources” on each shop page. Ratings from those sites are shown with their source and review count; where a shop has no buyer reviews, we say so.
Scores are editorial estimates
The five criterion scores are our editorial estimates, built from the information each shop publishes: its website, terms, catalog, shipping conditions, contact options and any lab documentation it makes public. They are not lab results and not the outcome of test orders. The overall score is the weighted average shown below.
Unknown means “Not published”
When a shop does not publish something — payment methods, refund policy, founding year, lab reports — we do not guess. The fact table shows “Not published”, and the missing information counts against transparency where it matters.
Where the codes come from
- Source: codes come straight from the shops that issue them. Each ticket shows the minimum order, the terms and the expiry date the shop set.
- Expiry: expired codes disappear from the site automatically. Codes ending within seven days get a LIVE label and a countdown.
- Not working? Reply to the email that delivered the code. We raise it with the shop and update or pull the code.
Why codes need a verified email
Codes posted in public get scraped and spread within hours, and shops shut them down. A verified email keeps bots out and keeps the codes alive. One verification (a 6-digit code or Google sign-in) unlocks every code on CodeVial for 180 days. See the privacy policy for what we store.
Reviews come only from verified emails
Member reviews require a verified email and are moderated before they go live. We do not write, buy or import reviews. If a shop has no reviews yet, we show none — no placeholder ratings, no averages.
What we do not do
We do not give medical, dosing or usage advice. The shops sell products for laboratory research use only; we compare them as vendors.
